KOLDfoil ONE and Viridian Holographic Eco-paperboard Make Their Debut at Printing United 2023

Sarasota, FL (August 11, 2023) – K Laser Technology, global leader in holographic and metallized paper and paperboard, is excited to announce their newly added exhibition at Printing United Expo 2023 in Atlanta, GA. This will be the first time K Laser Technology will be exhibiting at the Expo where they will be introducing their metallic decorative solutions product lines, KOLDfoil ONE for the Foilcure application, and Viridian™ holographic paperboard for sheetfed and web applications, at booth #B715.

KOLDfoil ONE, manufactured exclusively by K Laser Technology, is the only metallic decorative solution developed to perform on three different printing applications: Flexo, Digital, and Offset. Introduced to the market in 2019, the metallic embellishment is known to reduce inventory costs, increase uptime and product consistency, and improve purchasing logistics for label and packaging manufacturers. KOLDfoil ONE is available in the industry’s largest selection of metalized colors and holographic patterns.

In additional to KOLDfoil ONE, K Laser Technology has developed Viridian™ holographic Eco-Paperboard® to meet the urgent need for sustainable finishing solutions, while also achieving the specialty packaging demands from brand owners. The new holography line eliminates the laminating film previously required to print metallic effects on paper and paperboard allowing the finished product to be 100% repulpable and recyclable. With the metallic embellishment already on the paper, there is no need to invest in expensive capital equipment; simply load the paper and overprint. The new products are available in sheet or roll-to-roll patterns and registered holograms; to be used in sheetfed offset and web offset applications.
