What is Viridian holographic eco-paperboard?
Viridian is K Laser Technology’s holographic paperboard that is a sustainable alternative for holographic packaging and other paperboard applications.
Why is Viridian(TM) sustainable?
Viridian™ eco-paper and eco-paperboard® is 100% recyclable. It does not contain laminating film that is traditionally on paper and paperboard so it can be pulped along with the paper. There is no extra work of removing the foil from its’ backing resulting in a fully renewable, sustainable, and recyclable product.
Is it overprintable?
Yes, all our patterns and colors are overprintable.
How can I order? What are the minimums?
Viridian is available in rolls or sheets. MOQ is 1 sheet or 1 roll.
Maximum width for sheets is 40”; rolls is 20”

What paper weight is available?
Rolls and sheets are available in 9pt – 18pt.
Are the sheets already coated?
Yes, sheets are available in C1S and C2S.
Is specialty equipment needed to print Viridian?
Absolutely not. The rolls and sheets already arrive with the hologram on the substrate. Simply setup the press and print as normal.
I don’t need packaging, but I want to use Viridian for something else. What are the ideal applications?
Viridian paperboard can be used for many items other than health and beauty packaging; folders and brochures, gift bags, trading cards, magazine covers, apparel tags, entry items such as concert tickets, etc.
I don’t know how to set up my file for printing. Can you help?
