Example of Gassing

Below is a picture of a label that shows gassing on the bottom half of the print. (This is gold on a white substrate) In order to produce this example, a clear liner was placed over the top half of the label before applying the cold foil process, which reduced the nip pressure on the lower half of the print.

PLEASE NOTE - The picture can not show the metallic effect of the print due to the reflective nature of the foil.
